The wines are dense, full-bodied, very tannic. The fruit reminds us of the 1988 yet riper; as for the structure, it is quite like the 1986 yet less austere. Long on the palate, these wines develop strong aromas of licorice and black cherry. Very classic, the Grand vin of Latour is the typical expression of the power of the terroir of the "Enclos" parcel.��
